Every Body Accepted, Coney Island

The Coney Island Boardwalk is one of my favorite places in all of America. It is East Coast eccentricity at its finest, bringing people from all walks of life together to get away from the concrete of the city and relax. During a recent trip to Coney Island, I was inspired by the beauty and diversity of people. Old, young, black, white, Russian, Hispanic, people with boa constrictors and pet birds, children laughing and playing in the waves, and the unity of enjoyment.

Every Body Accepted

Living in New York City can be overwhelming at times, but Coney Island will always relax and renew the senses. This adventure brought me to a special place of harmony with the world around me. Miles away in Midtown Manhattan, people selfishly jab, jeer, and steer themselves through the streets without giving the slightest thought to the people they pass. But here, against the backdrop of the crashing ocean waves, everything was peaceful. Crowded and chaotic, but perfect in its truest form.
